Pooh and I had dinner at Cafe Ichiban on the Rocks in Hillcrest. It’s a new restaraunt and it’s Japanese cuisine so Pooh and I had to check it out. We ordered Tuna Carpaccio from their specials menu along with nigiri sushi (Ebi/shrimp and Tamago), a Crunchy Tiger roll, and Miso Soup. The Tuna Carpaccio was excellent and nicely plated. The sushi, however, tasted good but I would of expected a more pleasant presentation. There were a couple dishes that we saw on the menu that we’d like to try so we’ll be back soon. :)

April 12, 2007I know it sounds totally plebe, but there’s a new sushi place in Tucson, all you can eat for $20. If it’s any good, that’s like food from heaven.
