NETFLIX ORIGINAL: THE OA
I just finished watching the last episode of The OA last night and I’m still an emotional wreck. I loved the show! I had absolutely no idea what was going on the first couple episodes, but I loved the story and wanted to binge the whole thing in one sitting just to find out what was going to happen next. The OA’s narrative and compelling story kept me on the edge of my seat, constantly on the verge of tears, and sometimes uncontrollably sobbing wondering “why?!”. I fell in love with Betty, aka BBA. She just exuded this sadness that made you feel sympathy for her. I loved how each characters’ incredible depth was portrayed in bits and pieces subtly revealed as the episodes progressed. There was always a sense of mystery and confusion, yet it it opened a world of wonder and a strange satistfaction when things that were once unknown were then revealed. I don’t want to give too much away for those of you that haven’t watched it yet…but the ending had me ugly Oprah crying like there was no tomorrow and wanting a new season like NOW! The OA…so good…watch it now if you haven’t already.
