San Francisco Pride
Pooh and I will be in San Francisco next week to experience, for our first time, how SF celebrates pride. We’re very excited to go since we haven’t been in San Francisco in a long time and we’ve heard that SF Pride is incredible! We’ll be leaving San Diego on Friday night and we’ll staying in SF until Tuesday. We’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the Pride festivities and also take in all that San Francisco has to offer…especially shopping! We’ll be staying at Hotel Tomo, which should be within walking distance of the festival, so we can stumble our drunk selves home and not have to worry about driving everywhere. I’m pretty excited to see the hotel since it’s inspired by Japanese pop culture. We’ll definitely be taking A LOT of pics on this trip! We’ll be accompanied by our good buddy David. :)
I would love to hear recommendations of places that any of you might think we’d want to check out. We’ll definitely be checking out Haight St for some shopping…but if you know of any great spots, let me know! Places like restaurants, bars, clubs, clothing stores, shoe stores, etc.

June 21, 2009Valencia Street has trendy stuff – trendy coffee, trendy french fries, bunches of different restaurants.
Inner sunset near UCSF also has a load of nice restaurants. ShanDong at 1031 irving st. has good chicken wings, noodles, green beans, and great dumplings! The wait is kind of long cuz it’s always packed.
BiRite is supposed to be great icecream – I haven’t been but my friends always talk about it. It’s right near Dolores Park where u can go sun bathe and watch the homos – then grab some ice cream! It should be packed for pride.

June 25, 2009hotel tomo is kinda far from the civic center park. i wish you could leave earlier so you can still catch the scene at “club dragon” which is only every friday at folsom. have a safe trip! :)
