My friend Matt left his hat in my car.  It matched my outfit so I wore it to work.  :P  Me thinks his hat will magically go missing for a while…j/k  :P  I returned it when we had our movie night tonight. 

Hmmm…pretty random, but I like the outfit I wore to work today. ;) Very Purple.

Pooh and I were driving around on Sunday morning and couldn’t decide where to go and what to do to enjoy our day.  The conversation pretty much went as follows:

Tiggah:  “What you wanna do?
Poohburr: “I dunno, what do you wanna do?”
Tiggah: “Hm…ahh fuck it let’s go to LA”

So we just kept driving north on the 5 and headed to LA! We haven’t had a random “Pooh and Tigz” adventure in a long time and so it was nice to do something spontaneous and exciting.

We texted our bud to let him know that we were on our way to LA and wanted to see if he wanted to hang out while we were there. Not only did he want to hang out, he also offered to let us crash at his place if we got too drunk to drive back home. It was going to be a very fun night out in the town! Whenever we get together with our bud Flo we always have an incredible time. Since we were staying for 2 days we figured it was a good excuse to do some shopping at H&M.

While we were waiting for Flo to get out of work, we had dinner at Furaibo. I have been craving Furaibo Teba Saki Chicken Wings for a long time now and could not wait to get that meat in my mouth! :) Yes, I know…but it really is THAT good!

Pooh and I also headed to West Hollywood to grab a couple drinks at a couple bars. We found ourselves at Fiesta Cantina…again, but this time in LA. When Flo finally got out of work we met him at his new place in Korea Town. It was very cute and charming! We then headed to a bar called Big Wangs to party with some of his co-workers. We had a blast! After staying till closing, Flo took us to an awesome restaurant called Kitchen 24. OMG, DELICIOUS! It was amazingly delicious!

and Flo ordered the After School Special.

I had the Hash Brown Salmon Florentine. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a good picture of my food but it was AMAZING!

After stuffing our faces, it was finally time to head to Flo’s and pass out. Day 2 of our spontaneous trip to LA consisted of irresponsible spending, impulse purchases, and over indulgence. :) While we were heading to Big Wangs the night before, I saw a very adorable window display at Urban Outfitters so I wanted to check it out when it was open. The whole interior was decorated in the “Where The Wild Things Are” theme. It was really cute! I didn’t get that many pictures though because I was distracted by the awesome clothes on sale!

Anyway, as I mentioned, there was a 30% off sale on all outerwear. All 3 of us picked up fabulous jackets. LOL. It was gloomy and cold out so it was a sign; well that’s what I’m telling myself.

After our moment of weakness, we went to Little Tokyo to indulge in some Japanese goodness. It was a lot of food!

While we were in Little Tokyo we did some window shopping…it was pretty hard to fight the urge since there were so many cute shops with things I don’t need but want to buy. We fought through it though and later headed to Fiesta Cantina to get some drinks!

After drinks, we headed to Beverly Center. By this time Pooh and Flo were…tired.

So we called it a night, took Flo home, and headed back to San Diego. It was an incredibly fun packed weekend and I can’t wait to do it again. Thanks so much Flo for the awesome time! Ta Ta for now LA. We’ll see you real soon!

Pooh and I went to Man Kind Video (MKVSanDiego) with our buddy David last week and I picked up some swimming trunks that I thought were really cute. We’re going to go to Blacks Beach with some friends to lay out in the sun today. I’m excited that I finally get to wear my new swimwear! MKVSanDiego actually replied to my twitter last week and said they’d like to see a pic…so I thought I’d post it!

Pooh got some new kicks yesterday. They’re pretty sweeeeet~!

Pooh and I went to the mall today to do some last minute shopping for our “Secret Santa” gifts. We are having our Company Christmas Party tomorrow night and we’re all exchanging gifts. Luckily, both of ours were easy to shop for. Thank goodness for Gift Cards. Some may think it’s impersonal, but I think it’s great to give someone the power to get something they’d actually like; especially when it’s a co-worker that you don’t quite know well enough to get a good gift that they’d love.

Of course, my eyes started wandering and I got distracted. We ended up spending way more on ourselves than what we were at the mall for. Oops. I picked up the Dolce & Gabbana cologne that was on my holiday wish list. Oops. I also got a bunch of stuff at the Gap just because they were on sale. Oops. But hey, Pooh got some stuff too! Oops!

We’re not quite done with our holiday shopping yet. Pooh has taken all spending privileges away from me so we can make sure we get stuff for our family and friends. It’s just so hard when everything is on sale!

On our way to grab some holiday cards, gift bags, and tissue paper at Ralph’s, we ran into a fellow blogger! It was Victor from MOC Blog. I’ve only met him in person once and I’m very horrible at remembering faces, so I was quite embarrassed when he got our attention and I didn’t quite remember who he was. He looked familiar, and yet I couldn’t put my finger on it. The MOC blog is one of the very first blogs that I became a fan of so it was very nice to have run into him. I’ve always admired his writing style and found him to be very witty and eloquent. I remember when I first started blogging and he did a post on my blog. It was kind of like being in Janet Jackson’s fanclub and Janet Jackson personally sending you a message or something.

After Ralph’s we headed to Blockbuster’s to return Tomb Raider: Underworld in exchange for Prince of Persia. Yup, this Friday night is a Blockbuster night! How exciting! Unfortunately, the excitement had to come to a quick halt since Pooh took Nyquil and is now passed out beside me as I type this post. Ah well, there’s always tomorrow after our company party.

Pooh and I were at Bestbuy today looking for a new home theater system (mainly a receiver and possibly some new speakers…if the price is right) because ours is extremely old and crapped out. The sound keeps cutting in n’ out and it’s bugging the hell out of us.  I’m pretty good with electronics but despite my astuteness in gadgetry, I was unable to fix it. :(

Anyway, I got sidetracked and started to “browse” in the camera section.  One of the toys that caught my eye was the T700.  I very much enjoyed playing with it.  It’s sleek, sexy, lightweight, and captures great quality images.  I didn’t get to play with it too long but it’s definitely something on my I-don’t-really-need-it-but-it’d-be-nice-to-have list. 

Unfortunately, there were no receivers that we thought were worth purchasing.  We ended up going to Pei Wei to eat dinner.
