Hmm..Random not so Random?

Sigh…

After going through my blogs, I’ve noticed that my life lately seems pretty routine and in fact…not so random. Pooh and I have been working A LOT and sometimes it seems like we work, eat, sleep, work, eat, sleep.

Of course, Pooh and I still have fun. We enjoy our days off and our time together after work. I love to dine out and we do so almost every night. But there’s just something inside me that’s feeling a little down. I’m not sure why, and I guess I’m not sure how I feel exactly. Maybe everyone feels this way sometimes.

Before Pooh and I started working for this Company, we were VERY random and life felt free and spontaneous! Maybe my life seems monotonous because we haven’t been drinking much lately? We haven’t gone out like drunken idiots for quite some time now. Perhaps I’m just thinking too much. I know I’ll get over it. I guess I never really thought about it until now. Anyway, tomorrow’s another day…who knows what tomorrow will bring! Oh wait, I know…I have work…and then we’ll be going out to eat…and then probably we’ll head home afterwards to do whatever and then sleep. :) Maybe not…ah well.

Tiggah Q&A

I try my best to answer and reply to everyones’ questions and emails but lately I’ve been pretty busy. I decided to gather as many questions as I could and answer them all together :)

Flash lightbringer:
Q: nansai desu ka? soshite itsu anatano tanjoubi?
A: I’m 24 and it’s April 20th
Q: Anyway, does Ericsson support Laptop-to-Phone 3G connection?
A: It does, however T-mobile (my provider) won’t have 3G until next year (from what I heard T-mobile will have 3G in 2008 but I’m not sure). I will just have to make do with Edge, which is just as good :)

Anonymous:
Q: just want to ask how much did the phone cost? and what are its cool features? is it a symbian like phone? or something else?
A: K800i retail is $499 (prices may vary depending on where you buy it. I am in the US so buying an international phone is a bit more expensive, especially when buying it unlocked. And of course, you can try Ebay but I don’t like making large purchases online.) At the store where we purchased my phone, we were able to do so at $399 with an upgrade to my contract. Since Pooh and I are gadget freaks, collect phones, and buy there OFTEN…the owner gave us a great discount for a great price. Since it was a birthday gift…Pooh bought it for me. Although, Pooh and I have a joint checking/savings account…so we both technically paid for it :) It has so many cool features that would take forever to list. My favorite is the Camera, which has so many different settings and functions. I also love that it multi-tasks. It is not symbian but it is still a great phone.

Jared:
Q: U bought this here? I thought this was never released in North America? Didn’t they released the other one?the SE K790?
A: Yes. You’re right! It isn’t released in North America but I got it at a company that specializes in International phones. The American Version is the Sony Ericsson K790. They are both similar but the K800i has some features that the K790 does not, like an additional camera for video chat.

chino:
Q: hahahaha!! bonne anniversaire, je suppose, monsieur carlito!! hohoho!!
i just lost my phone. i think i threw it in the trash together with my subway stuff.. tsktsktsk… *pop goes the weasel*
A: Unfortunately, I only understand japanese and english =X but I think I get it… I’m sorry you lost your phone…I almost left my old phone in a food tray before…its horrible!

carmigz:
Q: You really do seem to have a thing with Sony (Ericsson)? Is it really good? I wanna try one someday.
A: I do own a lot of Sony Products…I think it’s probably just coincidence. Although, I am a gadget freak so I own a lot of electronics altogether. But the phone is great!

Puroy:
Q: so? when is it exactly? (if you dont mind me asking) the b-day…any treat for us? your readers??? hmmmmm
A: My birthday is April 20th…there might be a treat I don’t know :) I might get into my birthday suit…who knows!

If I missed any of your questions…let me know :)

Anyway, here’s a little something from our sponsors…er, I don’t have any…so I leave you with this random image of Tigguhh, my alter-ego…he seems to be this blog’s sponsor :)

I’m Ready For My Closeup!

I’ve finally decided to upgrade my Account to Pro. I reached my max of 200 long ago and so, for a while, older images became unavailable — and each time I would upload images, more and more of my precious memories would disappear! There are a whole bunch that are now available for public view since I’ve upgraded to Pro. I still have a lot of organizing now that I can create more than three sets, but I am happy that I am now able to access ALL of my images instead of just 200 at a time. I think there are more features in addition to a Pro account, but I haven’t looked into the details yet.

(BTW, the email address on the images of this post is an old email address that I no longer check, just incase anyone was going to send a message…I won’t respond if you do :)

So check out my Flickr page if you’re ever bored :) …and yes…you can find an archive of “you know what” in there as well. However, the big “treats” are only available to flickr members who I’ve added as a friend.

Beautiful Monday Morning

Pooh and I enjoyed our day off by, of course, eating out and shopping. :) It was a beautiful Monday morning! It felt great driving on the freeway with our windows rolled down and the sunroof open…it was quite refreshing.

We decided to have breakfast at Whole Foods; they have a very yummy hot food bar btw. MMMmmm…french toast, scrambled eggs, and potatoes!

After breakfast we thought we’d check out the sale they were having at CompUSA. EVERYTHING in the store was up to 20% off…unfortunately there wasn’t anything we really wanted…and we had already purchased our new hard drive. I did, however, make an impulse purchase and bought a new case for my ipod….it was purrrrrty and the 20% off sign above it was taunting me.

On our way out to our car from CompUSA, we saw a cute red MINICOOPER that matched my Ben Sherman jacket, which had the same flags on my zipper. I was in a silly and playful mood, so being random, I told Pooh to snap a pic. Unfortunately, Pooh had caught me at a very unflattering pose…

We headed to Urban Grind Coffee Shop in Hillcrest to get an Iced Chai Latte and a Bear Claw. I was thirsty and Pooh wanted something sweet :)

We headed home afterwards to have lunch and relax. Pooh made me Fish ‘n Chips! It was scrumptious! :) hmm…sorry to cut it short…but Pooh and I are gonna watch a movie! Gnite!

Weekend In LA

As I mentioned in my previous post, Pooh and I spent the weekend in LA to do a bit of shoppin, relaxin, and some partyin! (I’m having some layout problems so please excuse the mess)

Before we departed, we decided to stop by Whole Foods in La Jolla to grab some breakfast.

After a yummy meal we were off and headed to Los Angeles!

It was a frikkin loooooooong drive!

One of the places I really wanted to go to was this place called Alpha on Melrose right next to Pacific Design Center.

Unfortunately, we didn’t see anything that we wanted so we continued down Melrose Blvd. We went to several different shops and got ourselves pretty hot gear!

After a refreshing shopping spree down Melrose Blvd, we headed to Beverly Center to continue our weekend shopping splurge. We also met up with a friend of ours at Beverly Center. He was just visiting California and was heading back to New York tuesday, so we wanted to spend as much time with him as we could.

We spent most of the time at Macy’s but I got a lot of nice Ben Sherman gear that I know I wouldn’t be able to find in San Diego. After we got our spending on clothing out of the way…it was time to spend our money on alcohol!

Pooh and I took our friend to west hollywood, and we had a crazy…crazy…crazy fun night! Pooh, unfortunately, got wasted! I really want to post the pics from that night but I’d rather keep those memories to myself. :) But, to keep you entertained…here are some images of drunken Pooh while we were having a late night snack after our night of dancing and drinking.

We had sooooo much fun…I am very glad we got to spend time with my friend. I’ll definitely miss him and cannot wait till we can party again! It was a great weekend and we got a lot of new clothes n outfits to remind us of our trip. We both were pretty tired the next day. Pooh had a major hang over, and I felt crappy because I had to drive us home at 4am…good thing we didn’t have work :) It was definitely nice to sleep in.
