Pooh and I went to Gang Kitchen in downtown for our “Date Night” dinner. Pooh jogs past it all the time and has been wanting to take me there for some time now. I was excited to try it!
We both loved the interior design and decor. The lighting, art work, music, and layout all gave off a young hip vibe and swanky ambiance. If I had a big open loft, I’d love for it look the same way!
Pooh and I started with an East Asian Tonic and Lady Snowblood cocktail, and also had Sweet Potato and Avocado Spring Rolls for appetizers. The spring rolls were yummy! They were sweet and savory, and had the perfect crunch to compliment the soft filling. I ate all the crumbs on my plate. :P
For entrées, Pooh ordered the Roasted Duck and I went with the Grilled Shanghai Beef. Both were absolutely amazing! The beef was so juicy and I loved the potato frites that came on the side. Pooh’s duck had this sauce that I basically wanted to pour over everything. We seriously ate everything on our plates! I’m so full! Ugh :X
