Missing RO…
I’m not quite sure why but I visited Ragnarok Online’s website today. I used to play it ALL THE TIME. It was the very first MMORPG that I was addicted to. I was seriously addicted. I remember staying up until 4-5am just sitting there healing mummies in the Pyramid. I had a little group of friends that I’d play with every night. I went from novice to acolyte to priest with them. I truly miss playing with them. I have a lvl 70something priest named Tiggah on the LOKI server…I think it’s the LOKI server. It’s been a while. Perhaps I’ll reinstall it on my comp and check out what’s new. I am hoping my characters still exist.
I used to play since alpha so I’ve been a long time fan. Most of my friends left RO when Final Fantasy XI came out. I played both…but I also played City of Heroes, Guild Wars, and World of Warcraft. Yes, I am a nerd. Whatever. :) I’ve always played the “healer”. For some reason I found watching health bars going up and down enjoyable. Nowadays, I don’t have much time to devote to MMORPGs. I don’t even get to play my Wii or PS3 much either. I think it’s probably all of the going out drinking and then having to work all day.
Have any of you played RO? What MMORPGs do you play and what’s your character name?
Anyway, I many of you have been wondering why I haven’t been as actively posting as I used to. Well there are several reasons.
1.) I work a lot. Too much.
2.) Recently there have been a lot of birthdays…and everyone seems to want to go out every night during the week of their birthday. BTW it was Tribal’s bday recently…I’ll be posting some pics soon!
3.) I hate using my laptop now. It’s depressing. I’ve dropped my laptop a while back and a big piece of the bottom part broke off. It’s being held in place with tape…it’s ugly and annoying. The part where you connect the AC adaptor to my laptop is also broken. I have to hold and position the AC plug in a spot perfectly so that it stays charging. Unfortunately it cannot be solved by simply buying a new AC adaptor…it’s a piece missing on the female part of my laptop. If that makes any sense. My laptop functions fine it’s just annoying to use. It makes me not want to do anything on my laptop. I get depressed just looking at it. ::sigh:: Maybe it’s something telling me I need to dump this shit Vaio for a Mac.
Reason #3 is probably a big reason why I haven’t been posting as much as I used to. I’m thinking of maybe buying a new laptop or desktop. Maybe…we’ll see. Anyone want to buy me a belated birthday present? lol j/k. #1 is also another big reason.
I love my blog and love my readers…I’m sorry if I haven’t been able to post much. I’ll try to pump ’em out a little faster.

May 23, 2008if you want a desktop get a(n) iMac! its sleek, powerful and aesthetically pleasing. portable notebook would either be the MacBook or MacBook Pro depending on what you’ll be using it for.

May 23, 2008Ragnarok was my first MMO too! I was an Archer then changed over to a Bard when the class became available. Then i moved on to Maple Story, and it was all downhill from there :P
I’ll play WoW on and off, but mostly off since I don’t have a proper desk to use a mouse with. I really wish they offered a pay-as-you-go sort of service. I have a Blood Elf Warlock named ‘Gaias’
And if youre going for a Mac, maybe wait for the new MBPs to come out in a few months?

May 23, 2008i played Gunbound and now i currently play Maplestory. gunbound’s char name was frozenrx3 and my MS char is UnkleJey.. unoriginal cuz my nieces play and it’s me.. uncle j. haha. fortunately, i found a bunch of people of similar age (20+) and we formed our own guild with a minimum age limit of 18. i’m in Archer in maple story… fun times.

July 6, 2008Hello Tiggah. Well, Ragnarok is the very first MMROPG that I played here in the Philippines and surprisingly Im still playing it LOL! It’s really fun and I get to interact with a lot of people, from all walks of life. :) We also had a lot of EB parties then and now and non-stop fun during siege time is really something that draws us closer together.
Hey you might want to play on our server, its TYR. Combined Odin, Fenrir and URDR server haha.

July 13, 2008I played RO for quite a while and then I quit, right before episode Beins I think it was… I played on pRO and now I just play WoW. I’ve always been a healer class as well, I’m trying to change that, so I’m a shadow priest in WoW lol.
